Thanksgiving Day Facts & What funeralOne is Thankful For
November 24th, 2011Thanksgiving is all about traditions. Every year, we prepare the same traditional feast—turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. We kick back and relax in front of the football game, usually cursing the Lions if you’re a Detroit fan like us (although, they might actually break their tradition of losing this year)! And we recall what it is we’re thankful for.
So in keeping with the tradition, I’m going to share with you what we at funeralOne are most thankful for this year.
First of all…the funeralOne family continues to grow every day and for that, I am especially thankful for all of you. It’s you who inspires me every day and continues to support my crazy innovations and out-of-the-box way of thinking. I am extremely passionate about what I do and wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all of the funeralOne customers, partners and employees…so thank you!
Second of all…because of the growth funeralOne is experiencing, I relocated our headquarters to a facility in downtown Detroit. And I am extremely thankful for that because our new office is awesome! We’ve created an open, collaborative work environment unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The idea behind the design was to create a work hard, play hard kind of environment to inspire creativity and encourage motivation. Stay tuned for a video tour once the final touches are in place!
And lastly…I’m thankful for some of the new innovations funeralOne has launched this year like The Sympathy Store, which is revolutionizing the process of sending sympathy gifts and flowers to families grieving the loss of a loved one.
